What's Up at Steil Club?

Steil Club has been up to some fun things this Spring including:
Penny Wars
During the month of March, Club members and staff competed in collecting pennies to help with the relief efforts in Japan. There were four teams (broken down by ages) competing for the big grand prize, a chance to "slime" two staff members and two junior staff members. The Club raised over $100 for the cause, and the 6-9 year old team was the overall winner. Check out photos from the big sliming here!
Junk Day
During the week of Earth Day, Club members gathered in the gymnasium to find tons and tons of "junk." As part of a program to help them learn to reduce, reuse, and recycle, Club members took on the challenge of creating something amazing and creative from what others had deemed junk. The youth created many projects such as robots, houses, and more.
